Jeremiah 1:5(ESV)

⁵ “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
and before you were born I consecrated you;
I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”

From today’s message.  This verse tells us that God indeed has a purpose for our lives.  We are not to go drifting through life without meaning.

The verse says he:

• Formed us in the womb, thus we are his handiwork and creation.  We are created in his image.
• knew us before we were born.  The bible declares from before creation he created good works for us to do. (Ephesians 2:10)  We have a purpose.
• consecrated us.  He has set apart for a specific purpose.

It is therefore our duty to seek God in prayer so we can know our purpose.  We may not like our life right now, but give it to God, and He will make something of it.

Go and live out what God created you to be and do
