This Sunday @ N.H.C.C. (01.22.12)

This Sunday @ NHCC (1.22.12) we will be discussing the second gift of the Magi.  The Magi brought gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.  We will be discussing the gift of frankincense and what it represents to us as believers and as a church.  The gift of frankincense represents to us the priesthood, and how we are called as believers to be priests in his kingdom.

A priest is one who mediates between God and man, therefore, we must be witnesses of God to man.  One of our purposes is to share the good news with others.

The text will be from first Peter, chapter 2, verses 9-10.

Music will include: You Can Be a Beacon, Look What the Lord Has Done, Mansion on the Hilltop, Once Again, and When I Look into your Holiness.
