This Weekend @ N.H.C.C.

This weekend at New Hope Christian Church will provide ministry for many.

On Saturday 01.07.12 @ 9:00 AM we will be having our men’s breakfast in fellowship with Del Rio Christian Fellowship.  All men in the Del Rio Area are invited to attend.  We will be serving breakfast tacos, coffee and juice.

The message will be given by pastor greg, and is titled “Can you take a punch”  The message will deal with our reaction when life hits us or we have to face adversity.  Join us men of God for a great time in the LORD.  Communion will also be served.

On Sunday 01.08.12 @ 10:30 AM our church will be celebrating Fellowship sunday.  We will be meeting after service to eat lunch together.  Everyone is invited to stay after service.  Communion will also be celebrated at the end of the message.

Pastor greg will bring forth  the word,  His sermon will be dealing with goals the church will be setting for the new year.  It will be a four-part series based on the story of the Magi in Matthew 2:1-16. 

The the three goals for NHCC are based on the three gifts the wise men gave the Christ child.  The gifts were gold, frankincense, and myrrh.  The goals based on these gifts are worship, witness, and work.  More will be explained when you join us.

Music will include: Are You Washed In the Blood, I’m Gonna Sing, This World is Not My Home, Here I Am To Worship, and Come, Now is the Time To Worship.
