This Sunday @ N.H.C.C. 08.28.11 A Different Type of Sermon

This Sunday @ N.H.C.C. our Associate Pastor Mark Moreland will be bringing forth the message.  Mark will be discussing the rapture of the church, the Marriage Supper of The Lamb, and the tribulation period.  Pastor mark says:

On earth there will be a seven-year tribulation but in Heaven a seven-year wedding ceremony parallel to the Old Jewish wedding ceremony.

The scripture text will be taken from I Thess 4:13-18.

13 And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died[f] so you will not grieve like people who have no hope. 14For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died.

15 We tell you this directly from the Lord: We who are still living when the Lord returns will not meet him ahead of those who have died.[g] 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the Christians who have died[h] will rise from their graves. 17 Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever. 18 So encourage each other with these words.

Music will include the following songs and hymns:  I’ll Fly Away,  Hush Now In Quiet Peace, and  Here I Am To Worship.

Please be sure to join us on Sunday September 11, 2011 as we enjoy the music and ministry of 2004 Christian Country Music Association Artist of the Year Clifton Jansky.  Bro. Clifton will be ministering in music at our morning service at 10:30 AM, and will have a free concert at 2:00 PM.  Please join us if you can.  Below is a video of Mr. Jansky sing “I Choose Jesus”
