Pastor Installation Service @ NHCC. 08.21.11

This Sunday (08.21.11) at New Hope Christian Church will be very special. Two special events will be celebrated followed by a delicious fellowship lunch after the service.

We will be installing Mark & MiYon Moreland as members of the staff. Mark will be installed as Senior Associate Pastor, and MiYon will be installed as our Women’s pastor. Mark will be in charge of all youth activities as well as pastor greg’s assistant. MiYon will be working on developing a ministry for the ladies in the church.

Also Victor & JoAnne Cepeda will be officially installed as elders. Victor is serving as treasurer and JoAnne is the church’s secretary. Both have been faithful members since the very beginning.

We will also be celebrating pastor greg’s birthday. Pastor turns 25 for the second time in his life. He liked being 25 so much, he decided to do it again.

The message will be given by pastor greg and is entitled: “The Jethro Model of Leadership”. It will be a study on the model of delegation and leadership that Jethro, Moses’ father in law, gave him on how to lead the people God had entrusted him with. The scripture will be taken from Exodus 18: 13-27.

The message will speak on how one man cannot not do all of God’s work alone. He needs help. Even Jesus had 12 apostles helping him out on his journey through life. Jethro’s model is not only for church leadership, but it can also be implemented on other levels such as the family. Come by the service to hear more.
