Life Is Too Short.

This Sunday at New Hope Christian Church we will celebrate our first service in our new building at 700 S. Main.  Service begins at 10:30 AM.  We we will be having communion after the service.

Psalm 103 tells us,

¹³ The Lord is like a father to his children,
tender and compassionate to those who fear him.
¹⁴ For he knows how weak we are;
he remembers we are only dust.
¹⁵ Our days on earth are like grass;
like wildflowers, we bloom and die.
¹⁶ The wind blows, and we are gone—
as though we had never been here.
¹⁷ But the love of the Lord remains forever
with those who fear him.
His salvation extends to the children’s children
¹⁸ of those who are faithful to his covenant,
of those who obey his commandments!

The message is entitled : “Life is Too Short” and is based on the above scripture from Psalm 103: 13-18.  In a nutshell our lives here on earth are very short.  Even if we live to 100 years of age, it is still a short time in light of eternity.  In light of eternity, we should live so our lives count.  This week I will share on maintaining a good family relationship because life is too short to live in strife and discord.

Songs will include:  Glory To His Name, Uncloudy Day, Days of Elijah, Come Thy Fount, and Because He Lives.  Pastor will sing a special song by Moe Bandy called: “Till I’m Too Old To Die Young.”
