This Fathers Day @ N.H.C.C., The Best Fathers Day Sermon Ever

This Sunday @ New Hope Christian Church we honor all fathers during our service.  We would like to say thanks for all you do for your kids and family.  Every father in attendance will receive a free gift.

Service begins at 10:30 AM and will be at the American Legion Hall at 305 E, Bowie.

The message is entitled “The Best Father’s Day Sermon Ever.”  It is based on the Rodney Adkins video “I’ve Been Watching You.”  It a video about a son  who learns from his father by watching his actions.  In life you are either and example or a warning.  You are an example of a good father, or you are a warning as to what a father should not be.  Whether you realize it or not, your example is one of the primary ways that kids learn from you.  We must raise our kids in the fear and the admonition of the LORD. The sermon will be based on Proverbs 22:6 which tells us:

⁶  Train up a child in the way he should go,
And when he is old he will not depart from it.

Music will include the following songs:  Uncloudy Day, Jesus Set Me Free, The Prayer Anthem, Come Thy Fount of Many Blessings.

Special Music will be performed by the Rodriguez Sisters (Angel and Celeste).  They will be singing the song Daddy’s Hands by Holly Dunn.

Pastor Mark will give a brief teaching on God as our Father based on the scripture rpm Matthew 6: 9 and 13.
