This Sunday @ N.H.C.C.: 06.12.11 Making Prayer Effective

This Sunday at New Hope Christian Church service will be at the American Legion Hall at 305 E. Bowie St.  We will begin at 10:30 AM.

The message will be brought forth by Pastor Mark and the topic of discussion will be making our prayer lives more effective.  Pastor Mark says:

Praying is a simple thing.  It is just talking to God.  There are ways though that will improve your prayers being heard by God.  We must remember that God is Holy and He can’t Sin.  So lets investigate why and what God turns a death ear to some people’s prayers

One of the texts we will be discussing is from 1 John 5: 14,

¹⁴ And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him.

Music will include the following songs: I Saw The Light, Jesus Set Me Free, Uncloudy Day, Sanctuary, and What a Friend We Have In Jesus.
