Sunday 06.05.11: Lessons on Giving

Join for service this Sunday (06.05.11) for service at New Hope Christian Church.  We begin at 10:30 AM, and we will be at the American Legion Hall located at 305 E. Bowie.

Pastor Mark Moreland will be sharing on the miracles that Jesus did that declared he was also God.  He will be expounding from both the book of John and the book of Matthew.  The children will be viewing a cartoon video on the same topic.

Pastor Greg will bring forth a message on tithing entitled: “Giving Away Your French Fries” from the book of Malachi verses 8-12, and 2 Corinthians 9: 6-9.  In a nutshell the message will be about giving to God not from our finances, but giving to God from his finances.  Everything we have is not ours, but rather it is God’s.  We are just his stewards, and we must be good stewards of all he gives to us including our finances.

Music will include the following songs:  Are You Washed in the Blood, Power in the Blood, Glory to His Name, Hush Now, and He is LORD.
