This Sunday @ N.H.C.C:

This Sunday at New Hope Christian Church we will be meeting at The American Legion Hall at 305 E. Bowie St. Service will begin at 10:30 AM.

Pastor Mark will continue his discussion on the “10 characteristics of a Christian”.  He will be sharing on how a Christian has a hope and a longing for Christ’s return (1 John 3: 2-3), and how a true believer wants to serve other Christians (1 John 3:17, 1 John 3:14).

Pastor Greg will be bringing the Word and the title of the message is “Love In A Tunic”.   The text will be from the book of Genesis chapter 3: 1-24.  We will be discussing how even though we may sin and disappoint God, HE still seeks after us and tries to restore our fellowship with him.  God is truly a God of love.  Adam and Eve sinned in the garden and God clothed them when they saw they were naked.  Humanity was found to be naked in its sin, yet through the cross Christ clothes us in his righteousness.

Music will include the following songs:  Are You Washed in the Blood, Glory to His Name, Come Now Is The Time To Worship, In The Garden, Power In The Blood, and Thou Art Worthy.
