The Last Cowboy Sunday

This Sunday at New Hope Christian Church is the last Sunday of Cowboy month.  Come and join us for worship at 10:30 AM in the Sunblossom Room A at the Ramada Inn of Del Rio, TX.   The topic of discussion will be about leading a meek life and letting the Lord be in control of our lives.

We will be comparing the event of Saddle Bronc Riding which comes from the task of breaking horses to being broken by Christ.  Many of us in our lives before we  come to Christ have burden and bondages that make us uncontrollable much like a wild stallion.  We need Jesus in our life to break us and deliver us from our bondage.  We need to have our strength under his control.  More will be discussed at the service.

The Message is entitled “Letting Christ Break You” based on Matthew 5:5

The music will include “Unclouded Day”, “A New  Name in Glory”, “I’ll Fly Away”, ‘Blessed Assurance”, and “It is No Secret What God Can Do”, and “Amazing Grace.
