Pray For Peace

Riots are currently plaguing Egypt,  and violence isescalating.
 Iran has gone rogue with their nuclear program and is also  cutting back its oil production to raise the price of oil.
Tensions are high, and tempers are short. Remember the biblical mandate:

Psalm 122:6-9  Pray for Jerusalem’s peace!
Prosperity to all you Jerusalem-lovers!
Friendly insiders, get along!
Hostile outsiders, keep your distance!
For the sake of my family and friends,
I say it again: live in peace!
For the sake of the house of our God, God,
I’ll do my very best for you.

Let us keep the Middle East and its people in our prayers these next few days.  Pray for peace and stability in the region, and for the protection of Israel.  This area is the hub of world history.  What happens there will directly afftect us here at home.  But we need not be afraid or pray in fear, but rather the events that happen there are all part of God’s plan for history.  “Even so come LORD Jesus”
